This photograph was taken during the eclipse of November 8, 2003 from the window of an apartment on the Herengracht Canal in Amsterdam. The house was built in 1673, so there was an active spirit presence from the past 330 years. This particular eclipse received extensive media attention because when it occurred, the planets formed a Star of David pattern in the sky. Some felt that this rare configuration would usher in a period of higher consciousness and advanced perception. (I'm still waiting for the dawning of the Age of Aquarius...) Eclipses, whether solar or lunar, offer us a specific opportunity to gain illumination that is not ordinarily available to us.
